PLEIN AIR CLASSES
Our outdoor painting classes (or plein air) are for those that like a challenge and prefer to work in the fresh air instead of in a studio. Each week I find a new location that helps develop skills such as capturing atmospheric perspective and rapidly changing light.
One week we might be painting on the cliffs overlooking the thunderous Atlantic and another we might be standing in the middle of an inland stream painting wildlife, each lesson is varied, exhilarating and above all great fun.
We end each session with a picnic lunch and a group critique about the specific lessons we have learned.
We meet at the designated spot at 8.30/9.00am and paint until 1.00/1.30pm.
In these classes you would need to bring your own paints, mediums and canvas and of course, your lunch! If you don't have a portable easel you can hire one from me at a nominal cost.
